A resident of Almaty has been brought to administrative responsibility after posting a controversial video on social media. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the city police department, the man used profanity in the video, thereby violating public order and showing clear disrespect to others. The author's identity was established — he turned out to be a 36-year-old Almaty resident.
An administrative case was opened against the offender on charges of petty hooliganism. By court decision, the man was found guilty and sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.
Although the full video has been deleted from the blogger's page, the circulated clip shown by the police reveals the essence of the performance. In the footage, a man in a classic suit gets out of an expensive SUV and tries to parody the inspection of pipe laying in the city. In his speech, he uses profanity, mentioning the akimat's reaction to the poorly done work by contractors.
Almaty police reminded that the pursuit of likes and popularity on social media does not exempt citizens from legal responsibility.
