Starting in August, payment documents for residents of Almaty and the Almaty region will include new information about the obligations of management organizations of apartment buildings. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the press service of Alatau Zharyk Kompaniyasy, the receipts will now show whether OSI, KSK, or management companies have debts to AZhK. If the debt is not repaid, the building may be fully or partially left without electricity.
"Indicating the amount of debt in the receipt is a measure of information transparency. It allows owners to see the situation with the payments of their building and take timely measures to prevent problems with electricity supply," AZhK explained.
Such receipts will only be sent to consumers who have a contract with the AZhK branch, Energosbyt company.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Almaty residents will no longer have to sit without electricity due to neighbors' debts. Electricity will now be disconnected apartment by apartment for non-payers.
What Does the New Column Mean?
The new column will allow consumers to monitor the financial condition of their building's management organization. This is especially important for residents of apartment buildings, as accumulating debt can lead to power outages.
What to Do If There Is a Debt?
If a debt is indicated in the receipt, owners can demand explanations from the management organization and take measures to repay it. They can also discuss this issue at a residents' meeting and find a joint solution.
Procedure for Disconnecting Electricity
According to AZhK, if the debt is not repaid for a long time, the company first sends a warning and then applies measures to limit electricity supply. These measures may affect the building fully or partially.
Tips for Consumers
Experts recommend that residents carefully check payment documents and not ignore information about debts. To avoid debt, you can contact the management organization and agree on a payment schedule.
Conclusion
The new column will help consumers see the financial condition of their building and prevent power outages. This is an important step towards increasing transparency in the housing sector.
