In the Medeu district of Almaty, in the Kimasar gorge at an altitude of about 2,600 meters, a girl required rescuers' assistance. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that her health had deteriorated, and she could not descend the mountain on her own. Employees of the Monitoring and Operational Response Center "KSP Butakty" provided the necessary assistance and safely brought the girl down from the mountain.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations appealed to mountain enthusiasts with a request to plan their route in advance, taking into account weather conditions and sunset time.
"Do not leave tourist trails and calculate your strength," the rescuers noted.
Earlier, "Kursiv" wrote that rescuers had recently assisted a Chinese citizen who was injured while walking in the area of the Big Almaty Lake (BAL).
