Fake ticket seller detained
According to the Almaty police department, during monitoring of social networks, officers identified a young man who posted an ad selling tickets to the concert. He did not have time to complete the fraudulent scheme — police timely stopped his actions, and potential buyers were not harmed.
The police emphasized that this is just one of the results of enhanced control before a major musical event. Currently, employees are monitoring social networks, classifieds sites and other online platforms around the clock to identify attempts to sell counterfeit tickets and other fraudulent schemes.

"Police officers urge residents and guests of the city to purchase tickets only through official services, not to transfer money to strangers, and not to trust dubious online ads," the Almaty police department reminded.
Law enforcement officers recommend not to succumb to offers with "favorable" prices and urgent prepayment, since it is precisely such schemes that online scammers most often use in the run-up to major events.
Fake rumors
The day before, rumors began to appear on social networks and messengers that ticket prices would significantly drop or a sale with discounts would start just before the event. However, organizers stated that this is fake.
Concert preparation
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle wrote that more than 100 tons of technical equipment for Kanye West's show are already being delivered to Almaty. About 15 trucks with all stage structures, lights and sound are heading to the city.
