According to weather forecasters, NMC are predicted in Almaty, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Astana.
Why air quality worsens
Unfavorable weather conditions occur when calm, light wind, fog and temperature inversion combine. As a result, pollutants accumulate in the surface layer of the atmosphere, which can lead to deterioration of air quality.
