In the Almaty region, about 100 dogs left without an owner after the death of Vladimir Teplyakov were relocated to a safe place. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to information distributed by the "Dvoryanskoye Sobraniye" organization, the work to relocate 90 ownerless dogs in the Zhambyl district has been completed.

The volunteers' work

According to the volunteers, most of the people who were around them in recent days practically did not sleep.

"We transported the dogs and their kennels, looked for vehicles, people to take the dogs, and places to house them. Currently the dogs have been temporarily placed in one location; most importantly, they are no longer in danger," the volunteers say.

Other dog protection organizations also took part in this work.

Future plans

The volunteers noted that this is only the beginning of the work.

"However, this is only the beginning of the work. In the future, the animals need to be counted. There are tasks such as vaccination, sterilization, placement, feeding and finding shelter. All of this requires more money, people and time," the volunteers emphasized.

History of the shelter

It is worth noting that the Dog House "Tvardovsky Dom" shelter for rescuing dogs was opened by Vladimir Teplyakov. On October 7, unknown persons killed him.

The regional police opened a criminal case under the article of murder.

After his death, 90 dogs were left without an owner in the steppe.
