Rescuers and villagers in the Almaty region saved two teenagers from death. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In Zharkent, Zhetysu region, heavy rainfall caused a sharp rise in the water level of the Usek River. As a result, two teenagers could not get ashore and were trapped under a bridge.
The head of the guard of the Panfilov district fire department, Adil Kairbek, and Zharkent residents Azimbek Cholakov, Tanatar Satybaldy, and Alexander Vopyanov immediately came to help. Together, they brought the children from the middle of the river to the shore.
