In the Karasay district of the Almaty region, rescuers assisted two teenagers who had lost their route while descending a mountain. They were found near BAP peak at an altitude of 3,680 meters. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The information was provided by the Center for Monitoring and Operational Response of the city of Almaty.

Rescuers' data

According to the rescuers, both teenagers were born in 2008. After being found, they were escorted to the Ayu-Say dam.

"The teenagers did not need medical assistance. After that, they were met by relatives and taken to the city," the rescuers said.

Mountain hiking enthusiasts were reminded of the need to plan their route in advance, take weather conditions into account, and inform relatives where they are going and when they plan to return.
