Turkey's SunExpress airline is entering Kazakhstan's air transport market, the Ministry of Transport reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Starting July 31, the airline will operate direct regular passenger flights on the Almaty–Izmir route. Flights will be operated twice a week – on Tuesdays and Fridays – using Boeing 737 aircraft.
According to the ministry, the opening of air service between Kazakhstan and Turkey will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business, investment, tourism and cultural ties between the two countries.
