Meteorologists warn that during such periods, the risk of negative health effects increases, especially for people with chronic diseases.
Air pollution levels are influenced by wind speed, precipitation, humidity, and air temperature.
Residents are advised to reduce time spent outdoors, especially near roads and other pollution sources. Children and pregnant women are advised to avoid long walks.
People with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, as well as allergy sufferers, are recommended to carry necessary medications. Specialists advise limiting outdoor physical activity and, if possible, moving workouts indoors.
