AliExpress has been fined $629 million by the European Union for violating EU rules on the sale of illegal and counterfeit products. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.
The fine was imposed as part of the EU's strict policy against illegal goods in digital markets. AliExpress has not yet issued an official response to the decision.
