The first air taxis are planned to be delivered to Kazakhstan in 2028. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

This was stated by Roman Bogdashkin, IT Director of Alatau Advanced Air Group, at the AI & Digital Bridge forum.

"There are certain restrictions here that do not concern either us or Kazakhstan. They undergo strict certification like in large aviation. (...) This process will take several years," he said.

When asked about the cost of flying on the aircraft, Bogdashkin replied: "The commercial model is still being discussed. Of course, its price will not be the same as a ride in a regular taxi. But I think it will be enough for people to quickly fly to Medeu."

The air taxi was first tested in Alatau in May of this year.
