Kazakh athlete Alfiya Tilekkabyl has become a world champion in para judo, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Competing in the up to 52 kilogram weight category in the J1 class, Alfiya Tilekkabyl defeated Brazil's De Andrade by ippon in the final bout.
In addition, Alykyn Nurdaulenov won silver, while Ibragim Nurmakhanuly took bronze.
