Four fishermen were evacuated from an islet on Lake Alakol. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The incident occurred in the Alakol district of the Zhetysu region, near the village of Akshi. The fishermen were on an islet off the left bank of the lake and could not return to shore on their own, so they called for help from rescuers.
Emergency workers brought all four to shore. They did not require medical assistance.
The ministry reminded that before going on the water, it is necessary to consider weather conditions and follow safety measures.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that in the Mangystau region, rescuers brought to shore a girl born in 2004 who was carried about 200 meters out to sea on an inflatable ring near the Kenderli recreation area. She also did not need medical help.
