Kazakh boxer Aibek Oralbay has become champion of the Asian Games. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Aibek Oralbay, captain of Kazakhstan's national boxing team, became champion of the XX Summer Asian Games being held in the Japanese city of Aichi–Nagoya. This was reported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

In the final bout, the Kazakh boxer faced Uzbekistan's Jakhongir Zokirov and, based on the result of the fight, won the gold medal.

Kazakhstan's second boxing gold

According to the ministry, this is the second gold medal for Kazakhstan's team in boxing at the current Asian Games.

Earlier, Torekhan Sabyrkhan became champion in the weight category up to 70 kilograms. In the final, he defeated Jordan's Zeyad Ishash by a score of 5:0.
