The Aitu messenger will soon introduce a feature for sending traditional money transfers such as suyinshi, korimdik, asar and sadaka. This was announced by Managing Director of BTS Digital group of companies Maksat Nuridenuly at a government meeting. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
It is planned to develop Aitu as a national messenger that takes into account Kazakh traditions, language and lifestyle. For this purpose, various functions needed by every family will be launched. In particular, users will be able to store photos, maintain a calendar of important events and organize various events.
"Kazakhstanis will also be offered the opportunity to automatically make money transfers related to common traditions such as suyinshi, korimdik, asar and sadaka," said Nuridenuly.
The messenger will also develop a digital shezhire (genealogy). Users will be able to store their ancestry and family history in a convenient format.
"Special attention will be paid to the development of the Kazakh language. The application will have the ability to automatically translate between Kazakh and Russian. This is important because representatives of more than 100 ethnic groups live in the republic," noted Nuridenuly.
It is worth noting that today 6.8 million people are registered in Aitu. More than 1 million Kazakhstanis use the application monthly. The daily audience exceeds 100 thousand, and on peak registration days this number reaches 210 thousand people.
