Air travel with the United Arab Emirates has been temporarily suspended, Air Astana airline reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, Air Astana has decided to suspend flights to the UAE. According to the company, flights KC897/898 Almaty – Dubai – Almaty scheduled for July 13 and 14, as well as flight KC205/206 Astana – Dubai – Astana scheduled for July 14, will be canceled.
Passengers can get a full refund for tickets purchased for flights between July 12–18 and until July 31, or rebook their tickets for another date.
It is worth noting that earlier, due to the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, a passenger plane heading from Astana to Dubai was turned back.
