The organizer of the criminal scheme was sentenced to 9 years, and his two accomplices to 8 years and 6 months in prison. Additionally, all convicts had their property confiscated and were banned from holding positions in commercial organizations for 5 years.
The court granted the civil claim of the injured party for over 1 billion tenge. The confiscated property will be used to compensate for the damage caused.
The appellate instance reviewed the arguments of the defense and left the verdict unchanged, while the appeals were dismissed.
