An electronic system showing the nutritional value of meals has been launched at a National Guard unit in Kokshetau. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Within the "E-Qamqorlyq" system, the procurement and storage of food, sanitary requirements and permit norms are monitored.

In particular, Q-Store keeps records of food in the warehouse and monitors its shelf life. Q-HACCP oversees compliance with temperature, humidity and sanitary requirements, while Q-Staff allows monitoring of employees' working hours and medical permits.

The FoodPos device recognizes dishes on a serviceman's plate and determines their volume.

And artificial intelligence shows the nutritional value of the food.

"Servicemen of the military unit can now find out how much protein, fat and carbohydrates they consumed during breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is also an opportunity to rate each dish. This data is entered into digital analysis, which makes it possible to take into account servicemen's food preferences and, if necessary, adjust the menu," the official statement says.

The new system is still undergoing testing. If its effectiveness is proven, this practice is planned to be applied in other military units as well.
