The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Yandex Qazaqstan group of companies and the 'Isker' support center signed a memorandum on providing social support to female couriers. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The new project aims to provide assistance to female couriers who find themselves in difficult situations. The specific type and amount of assistance will be determined individually for each person, taking into account the woman's life situation, family needs, and project requirements.
According to Tolkin Sametova, director of the 'Isker' support center, when providing support to families in difficult situations, it is necessary to consider each person's needs and circumstances individually.
"Within the project, we plan to work individually with each participant and determine what support is needed based on her needs. The fund's experience in providing legal, psychological, and humanitarian assistance allows us to provide real support to women and their families," says Sametova.
Women who fulfill orders through the 'Food', Lavka, and 'Delivery' services in the Yandex Go mobile app can participate in the pilot project. To do so, female couriers must use these services for at least four weeks.
When selecting applications, priority is given to citizens in need of social support. These include single mothers, large families, persons with disabilities, mothers caring for children with special needs, and those caring for seriously ill family members.
Detailed information about participation conditions and application procedures can be found in the Yandex Pro mobile app in the 'Basic information about cooperation' section, in the article 'Help for female couriers'. Additional information can also be obtained from the support service of the relevant service.
The project is currently being implemented in pilot mode. Based on its results, the parties will study citizens' needs for support measures and assess the practical effectiveness of the proposed assistance.
