In Astana, under the chairmanship of Nurlan Abdirov, a regular meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place. The main item on the agenda was the review and registration of the party list of the public association "Adilet Party". This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The meeting was attended by the party leadership, representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, observers from the OSCE ODIHR, and the media. Territorial election commissions from all regions of the country joined the discussion via video conference.

As reported by Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mukhtar Yerman, the Adilet Party timely submitted a full package of documents and fully paid the election deposit for all candidates.

A total of 186 people were included in the final list of the association. At the same time, the party significantly exceeded the mandatory 30% quota for representation of women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

"In accordance with Article 89 of the Constitutional Law on Elections, only one list from one political party is allowed for registration. In the party list, the number of representatives of three categories: women, youth, and persons with disabilities in total must be at least 30%. In the party list of the Adilet Party, there are 186 people. Of these, 88 candidates are women, youth, and persons with disabilities, which is 47.3%. The quota established by law has been met," informed Mukhtar Yerman.

The Central Election Commission emphasized that, together with authorized state bodies, a thorough check of each candidate for compliance with the requirements of the Constitution and relevant legislation was carried out.

"All persons included in the party list meet the requirements," summarized the Deputy Chairman of the CEC.

Following the meeting, commission members signed the final protocols and adopted an official resolution to register the party list of the association. Registered candidates were presented with corresponding certificates.
