American bloggers have already visited the roof of the Abu Dhabi Plaza complex in Astana. American influencer Caleb showed a sunset video from a height of 311 meters in TikTok. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The Abu Dhabi Plaza complex includes a shopping center, office towers, apartments, and a five-star hotel. One of its towers has 75 floors — it is the tallest building in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The height is about 311 meters.
Recently, American blogger Caleb (about 490 thousand subscribers on TikTok) showed what Astana looks like from the height of this building. After that, residents assumed that the long-promised observation deck had been opened in the complex. It turned out that this was not the case.
After that, a video appeared on the official Instagram of Abu Dhabi Plaza with travel blogger Joshua Platillero, known online as @megaamerican (over 8 million subscribers on Instagram). The young man thanks for the opportunity to climb the tallest building in Central Asia and admires the view.
In the comments to the video, the administration explained that the bloggers filmed the sunset in Astana from the roof of the building, but access for ordinary citizens is prohibited "for safety reasons."
"For filming by bloggers and other media, a special procedure for visiting the facility is provided. Access is granted upon prior coordination with state authorities, as part of organized visits aimed at developing the tourist attractiveness of the capital," the administration explained.
For citizens, they plan to organize viewing areas in the complex in the future. When they will appear is not specified.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported what footage Joshua Platillero shared from the Almaty region.
