Two employees of the emergency situations department are among those killed in a road accident in the Abai region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the department's press service, the department is providing all necessary assistance and support to the families of the deceased employees.
"Currently, the department has launched an official investigation into the incident. Based on its results, an objective assessment will be given to the actions of officials," the statement said.
Recall that on August 26 at approximately 15:30, a road accident occurred on the Semey-Kurchatov highway in the Abai region, killing 4 people. The driver of a Chevrolet Nexia, while overtaking a Gazelle ahead, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Kia Rio.
