A forest fire in the Semey Ormany state forest nature reserve has been contained. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The fire in the Borodulikha district was contained at 9:45 AM today. A total of 709 tons of water were delivered for firefighting. The efforts involved personnel from the Committee of Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, employees of the Semey Ormany and Irtysh Ormany state forest reserves, the state enterprise Kazaviaormankorgau, as well as forces from the Ministries of Emergency Situations, Internal Affairs, Defense, the National Security Committee, and local executive bodies.
