In the Abai region, police officers delivered a child with a leg injury to the hospital in 12 minutes. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On August 15, on the Semey–Ust-Kamenogorsk highway, a Volkswagen driver asked police for help. He told officers that a five-year-old child in the car had a deep leg wound and was bleeding heavily.
According to the mother, her son, who lives in the village of Granitny in the Zhanasemey district, was playing in the yard and wanted to go outside. At that moment, the glass of the entrance door shattered, severely cutting the child's leg.
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, police officers Yelaman Masalimov and Medet Smagulov, without wasting time, put the mother and child in a patrol car and headed to the regional hospital. They delivered the injured child to the children's admission department of the regional hospital in 12 minutes.
Doctors immediately admitted the child and urgently took him to surgery.
"My son's leg would not stop bleeding, and I was very scared. Not knowing what to do, I saw police on the road and asked for help. They immediately helped, put us in the car, and got us to the hospital in just 12 minutes. For me, that was a huge help. I sincerely thank the police officers," the child's mother said.
In such moments, every second matters. The prompt and professional actions of the police allowed the child to receive medical care without delay.
