The prosecutor's office in the Beskaragay district of the Abai region has identified violations during the reinforcement of a 600-meter section of the Irtysh riverbank, according to the regional prosecutor's office press service.

At the end of 2025, LLP "Techserviskom" carried out work on the 600-meter section, but self-extracted the necessary inert materials on the lands of a populated area without permits, instead of officially purchasing them.

"A pre-trial investigation has been initiated on this fact under Article 334 (unauthorized use of subsoil) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, according to the prosecutor's act, officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility," the prosecutor's office reported.

In addition, the court ordered the contractor to compensate the state for 15.7 million tenge of unjustifiably received budget funds.
