The Ministry of Internal Affairs has brought administrative charges against nine streamers for distributing illegal content on social networks. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the ministry, the offenders used profanity, engaged in indecent acts, organized dangerous pranks, and insulted people during live streams on TikTok to gain likes, views, and donations. Minors also watched these streams.
In Astana, 37-year-old Indira Yeshtayeva, known by the nickname "Bauyrsak," received an administrative fine for petty hooliganism for using profanity and distributing illegal content during a live stream.
In Almaty, 32-year-old Aktore Batyrbek was arrested for five days by court order for using profanity and insulting others during a live stream.
In Shymkent, 20-year-old Daniyar Seydaliev used a stun gun and staged a kidnapping during a live stream to attract audience attention. He was arrested for eight days for profanity and gross violation of public order.
In Zhambyl region, 41-year-old Laylo Kasymova, known by the nickname "Altyn kyz," was fined for repeatedly using profanity and distributing illegal content during live streams.
Also in this region, 19-year-olds Zharkynay Baibek and Asylzhan Tanabergenov were found to have intentionally inflicted bodily harm on each other during a live stream for donations and hype. Both were held administratively liable.
The Interior Ministry warned that it is impossible to remain anonymous behind a phone screen or anonymous account. "The Ministry of Internal Affairs has all the necessary tools to identify any offender," the ministry stated.
