An Astana resident was arrested for 15 days after committing 80 traffic violations in four months. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to police, the man exceeded speed limits, ran red lights, and violated maneuvering rules. All violations were recorded by video cameras.

During the court hearing, the offender pleaded guilty and agreed with the punishment. He was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest under Article 596 of the Administrative Code of Kazakhstan.

Police officers reminded of the need to follow traffic rules and urged to avoid repeated violations.
