The Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan has published the results of monitoring of retail outlets. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The ministry identified 63 key trading facilities that have the greatest impact on regional prices. These include large markets such as Altyn Orda and Barys-4.
As a result of inspections, about 486 violations were detected, and appropriate measures are being taken for each. According to Yernur Zhautikbayev, Chairman of the Trade Committee, work to restore order in the supply chain is underway. Since the beginning of the year, 150 inefficient intermediaries have been eliminated.
"The inspections revealed facts of counterfeit and unlabeled products, shadow turnover, violations of cash discipline, unregistered labor relations, and multiple subleasing of retail spaces," said Yernur Zhautikbayev.
