Some users speculated that it might be a veiled offer to sell a newborn baby. In this regard, Almaty police conducted an investigation and identified the author of the publication.
According to police, the ad was posted by a man registered with a psychoneurological dispensary. During the check, no data confirming his involvement in human trafficking, including the sale of newborns, was found.
Thus, the speculation about selling a child that spread on social media was not confirmed. The ad actually referred to the sale of a doll.
