During nationwide raids, more than 500 vehicles with fake license plates were identified. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
From June 10 to 14, internal affairs agencies conducted nationwide raids to identify and suppress the use of vehicles with fake state registration plates. As a result, over 22,000 traffic violations were stopped, including 500 vehicles equipped with fake state registration plates.
"In addition, more than 1,500 vehicles used without state registration plates were identified. About 2,500 vehicles were placed in special parking lots," said Arai Tolegenkyzy, senior inspector for special assignments of the Administrative Police Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
These facts indicate that the use of fake state registration plates is often deliberate and used to evade liability for offenses. The ministry reported that each violation will be given a proper legal assessment, and the guilty will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
