ASTANA, July 31 – Sputnik. From August 1 to September 30, within the framework of the Compulsory Education Fund, assistance will be provided to children from socially vulnerable categories for purchasing school uniforms, shoes, and school supplies. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Ahead of the 2026-2027 academic year, about 450,000 children will be covered by support. About 23 billion tenge has been allocated in local budgets for these purposes.

The minimum amount of assistance is 50,851 tenge per child. This is 10 percent more compared to last year. Depending on the capabilities of the local budget, the payment amount may be higher in some regions.

Assistance is provided to orphans and children left without parental care, students from low-income families, children from families receiving targeted social assistance, as well as children in difficult life situations.

To receive the payment, parents or legal representatives must submit the relevant documents to the educational organization.
