Kazakhstan has published a weather forecast for August 10. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
General weather conditions
According to Kazhydromet specialists, the weather over most of Kazakhstan will be determined by a southern cyclone and associated atmospheric frontal sections. As a result, thunderstorms and rain are expected, with heavy rain in the mountainous areas of the southeast, and hail possible in some areas.
Wind and fog
Wind will strengthen across the republic. During the day, a dust storm is expected in the north of the country, and fog at night and in the morning in the north and northeast.
Temperature regime
According to the forecast, in Atyrau region, in the west and south of Aktobe and Ulytau regions, and in the south of Kostanay region, temperatures will reach 40-41 degrees Celsius. In Mangystau region, it will be 43-44 degrees Celsius.
In Almaty, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Kostanay, Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Karaganda regions, as well as in the south of East Kazakhstan and Abai regions, temperatures will be 35-38 degrees Celsius. In Zhambyl region — 38-40 degrees, and in Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions — 40-43 degrees Celsius.
Fire hazard
High fire danger persists over most of the country.
