October 31 is a day suitable for celebrating several holidays. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Today marks Parents' Gratitude Day. On this day, it is especially important to pay attention to your parents. In the daily hustle, we even forget to call them. Please them with your attention, because they wait to meet you every day and miss you. Buy a gift or have tea together, because no one is closer to us than our parents.

Also today is the most pleasant holiday — Long-Distance Love Day. If you want to express your feelings to your loved one, you can do it in various ways. Some people like to hug, for others it is important to give a gift, while others take pleasure in expressing love from a distance. Interestingly, girls like to receive more attention from guys, so they more often express their love to their significant other from a distance.

Of course, in many countries around the world today, on the eve of All Saints' Day, the mystical holiday Halloween is celebrated. There are many interesting traditions of celebrating Halloween. Children put on scary costumes, go to neighbors' houses, and ask for sweets, saying the famous phrase from American films: "Trick or treat!". On Halloween, houses are also decorated with pumpkins, artificial spider webs, and other themed decorations. In such an atmosphere, scary stories are told and films are watched.
