According to Kazhydromet forecasts, on August 28, most of Kazakhstan is expected to have weather without precipitation. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

At the same time, in the northwest, north and northeast of the country, rain with thunderstorms is expected. In the north, heavy rain is possible at night, and hail in some areas.

Wind intensification is forecast across the republic. A dust storm is possible in the south. Fog is expected in the north, east and center of the country at night and in the morning.

In the Almaty region and the Zhetysu region, intense heat up to 35 degrees is forecast during the day. In the Almaty region, wind gusts in the southern and mountainous areas will reach 18 m/s. In the Zhetysu region, in the area of the Alakol lakes, the wind will intensify to 15–20 m/s.

In the Akmola region, rain and thunderstorms are expected at night and during the day; in the north and east, heavy rain is possible at night. During the day, hail and gusty winds up to 20 m/s are forecast in places.

In the North Kazakhstan region, rain, thunderstorms, hail and squalls are expected at night and during the day. Gusts of northwest wind will reach 15–20 m/s. In Petropavlovsk, rain, thunderstorms and hail are also expected at night.

In the Kostanay region, rain with thunderstorms will pass in the east and northeast, and light rain in the west and northwest. In Kostanay, light rain and thunderstorms are expected during the day.

In the Pavlodar region, rain and thunderstorms are expected at night in the west and north, and during the day in the west, east and center. In Pavlodar, rain with thunderstorms is forecast in the morning and afternoon.

In the Karaganda region, light rain and thunderstorms are possible at night in the north and east, and during the day in the north - rain, thunderstorms and hail.

Fog is expected in places at night and in the morning. In the Ulytau region, wind gusts will reach 15–20 m/s.

In Astana, rain and thunderstorms are expected at times, and hail is possible during the day. Wind northwest and north - 9–14 m/s, with gusts up to 15–20 m/s during the day.

In the east and southeast of the country, increased wind and fog are also expected. In the mountainous areas of the Zhambyl region, gusts will reach 15–20 m/s.

In the Kyzylorda region, a dust storm is forecast during the day in the central areas, with northwest wind gusts of 15–20 m/s.

In most of the southern and western regions, high or extreme fire danger remains. Extreme fire danger is forecast, in particular, in the Kyzylorda, Turkestan, Zhambyl, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Aktobe regions, the Ulytau region, as well as in certain areas of the Zhetysu, Abai, Almaty, Kostanay, Mangystau and Karaganda regions.

In the Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Karaganda and Mangystau regions, high fire danger remains in some areas.
