Construction of a vegetable oil plant worth 11 billion tenge has begun in the city of Arys, Turkestan region. The project is being implemented by Agrima Group, one of whose owners is 24-year-old Yerkenur Rustembek. The enterprise is planned to be launched in 2027. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The future plant will be able to process 165 thousand tons of raw materials per year. Currently, the construction of the enterprise building is underway at the site, and production equipment is being supplied and installed. After launch, 150 permanent jobs will be created here.

The investment agreement for the project was signed by the akimat of Turkestan region and Agrima Group within the framework of the IX Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable (KGIR-2026), which was held in Shymkent. A memorandum of cooperation was concluded during a meeting of the regional akim Nuralkhan Kusherov with investors, with the participation of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.

The project is expected to be implemented in 2026–2027. Regional authorities consider the construction of the plant as part of efforts to develop the agro-industrial complex and the processing industry.

According to Adata, the owners of Agrima Group are 24-year-old Yerkenur Rustembek and "Mega-Agat AGRO". In turn, "Mega-Agat AGRO" is controlled by two individuals – Murat Irgebayev and Alisher Ismonov.

According to information on the website of the Navigator business club, Murat Irgebayev is associated with the companies Mega-Agat and Ra Mastone. Their activities cover the production, export and import of consumer goods, logistics, as well as the production and sale of building materials from natural stone.

The entrepreneur's profile states that the business is based in Shymkent and has branches in Tashkent and Arys. The staff consists of 20 people.

According to Navigator, over nine years of operation, Mega-Agat has created one of the largest automated production complexes in Central Asia. Another mentioned company, Ra Mastone, specializes in natural stone products and has sales points in more than three cities of Kazakhstan.

In addition, given the surname and patronymic of Yerkenur Rustembek, there is a possibility that her father is Irgebayev. However, this information could not be confirmed from public data.

Earlier, "Kursiv" wrote that Kazakhstan may start producing satellites and components together with South Korea.
