On June 24, Russia celebrates the Day of the Chuvash Republic. The capital of the republic is Cheboksary, where the main national holiday – Republic Day – is celebrated annually on this day, established in 1995 to mark the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Chuvash Autonomous Region. This doll is woven from straw and twigs, sometimes made of clay, and decorated with wreaths, flowers, and ribbons.
