In Kazakhstan, medical workers and ambulance crews are being equipped with smart video badges. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to a government statement, digital solutions are being introduced to protect medical workers and improve access to medical care.
In particular, smart video badges and SOS buttons for emergency communication with police are being introduced.
"By the end of the year, it is planned to cover 2,100 ambulance crews and more than 3,800 employees with video badges. Telemedicine allows conducting up to 24 types of examinations remotely," the statement says.
In addition, the "Cold Chain" system for monitoring vaccine storage conditions has been introduced, and telemedicine complexes have been installed in 655 medical organizations in rural areas and 72 institutions of the OSMS system.
