The Ministry of Transport is introducing changes and additions to the requirements for vehicles imported into the country. According to the document, from 2027, individuals will be banned from importing cars older than five years into Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Additionally, the environmental class of vehicles must be no lower than Euro-5. These rules apply to cars, motorcycles, and trailers intended for personal use.
However, they do not apply to special equipment and commercial vehicles, such as trucks and buses.
