Coordinated by the Almaty prosecutor's office, the activities of the organizers of the 'Kizdar.net' website have been stopped. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the investigation, since 2011 the site was used for placing advertisements and organizing paid intimate services. The alleged organizers of the internet resource were detained, their actions are classified under Part 2 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code, and they were taken into custody with court sanction.
During searches, large sums of money, digital assets, computer equipment, and other physical evidence were seized. Preliminary illegal income of over 2 billion tenge was identified, the statement said.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The case is under special control of the Almaty prosecutor's office, the prosecutor general's office said.
