Weather on October 17: rain, frost and high fire danger

In the north, east and far west of the republic, weather will be unstable under the influence of atmospheric fronts, Kazhydromet reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Weather forecast

In the west, rain and thunderstorms are expected; in the east and north, precipitation (rain, snow) and ice. In the rest of Kazakhstan, an extensive anticyclone will bring weather without precipitation.

Across the republic, wind intensification is expected, with dust storms in the west and south, and fog at night and in the morning.

Frost risk

In Almaty and Zhetysu regions, in the west and east of Zhambyl region, and in the north of Kyzylorda region, frosts of 1-8 degrees are expected at night.

Fire danger

High fire danger is expected in Atyrau region, in the center of Mangystau region, in the west, south and east of West Kazakhstan region, in the east of Aktobe region, in the east of Zhetysu region, in the north of Kyzylorda region, and in the south of Kostanay region.

Emergency fire danger persists in Kyzylorda region, in the west, south and center of Aktobe region, in the south and east of Atyrau region, in the west of Karaganda region, and in the west, south and center of Ulytau region.
