Variable weather will persist across Kazakhstan on June 14, Kazhydromet reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Strong winds, thunderstorms, and fog are expected in the west, northwest, and north at night and in the morning. Thunderstorms, rain, and hail are forecast, with heavy rain in the west of the country.

During the day, intense heat of 35-38°C is expected in East Kazakhstan, Almaty, Zhambyl, Zhetysu and Abay regions. High fire danger is forecast in Karaganda, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl regions, Ulytau region, western and southwestern parts of West Kazakhstan region, northwestern, southern and eastern parts of Atyrau region, western part of Mangystau region and Zhetysu region, southern part of Kostanay region, southern and central parts of Akmola region, northern part of Pavlodar region, western, northern and central parts of Almaty region, southeastern and central parts of Turkestan region.

Extreme fire danger is expected in Kyzylorda, Turkestan regions, Abay region, extreme west of West Kazakhstan region, south of Aktobe region, southwest of Kostanay region, east of Akmola and Pavlodar regions, west, north and center of Karaganda region, west of Zhambyl region, north of Almaty and East Kazakhstan regions, east of Zhetysu region.
