Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova announced that the investigation into the criminal case regarding the death of a 13-year-old child in the Mangystau region has been completed. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to her, gross violations were found in the organization and provision of medical care at the Mangystau Regional Multidisciplinary Children's Hospital and City Polyclinic No. 2 in Aktau.

Inspection results

Following the inspection, the director of the regional children's hospital was dismissed from his position. The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and the case materials have been sent to court, Alnazarova wrote on her social media page.

Minister's statement

She noted that she would receive the mother of the deceased child in Astana. "This is an irreparable loss for the family. The guilty will receive a fair punishment," the minister concluded.
