Today, July 13, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of National Security Bodies Employees. On July 13, 1992, by the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan, the National Security Committee (NSC) of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The NSC includes departments and other structural units, territorial bodies of the NSC in regions, cities of republican significance and the capital, subordinate city and district departments, as well as military counterintelligence, the "Barlau" Service of the NSC, the Border Service of the NSC, special purpose units, research institutions, along with other organizations the NSC Academy in Almaty and the Military Institute of the NSC of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Also on this day, Montenegro's Statehood Day is celebrated. In 1878, at the Berlin Congress, Montenegro was recognized as the 27th independent state in the world. Montenegro's Statehood Day should not be confused with Montenegro's Independence Day, which is celebrated annually on May 21 in honor of the 2006 national referendum.
