According to research, dark chocolate improves memory and helps people with poor eyesight.

Also today is World Population Day. In the 1960s, humanity noticed the rapid growth of the world's population. This issue caused concern among UN member states. According to the UN, on July 11, 1987, the Earth's population approached 5 billion people. Thus, this day was conditionally named the Day of Five Billion. In 1989, the UN established an international holiday – World Population Day, celebrated annually on July 11. Between 1960 and 1999, the world's population nearly doubled, reaching 6 billion in October 1999.
