Since the beginning of 2026, the emergency police call number 102 in Kazakhstan has received more than 4 million 117 thousand requests. Every day, 12-15 thousand requests come in, meaning a call is made approximately every 6-7 seconds. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The information was published by the police press service on the Polisia.kz website.
The police call channel 102 one of the most in-demand among the population. If 4.117 million requests are divided by the days since the beginning of the year, it comes to about 13.5 thousand per day.
In addition to number 102, the police accept messages through other channels: an omnichannel request reception system, the mobile application "Police 102", the "SOS" panic button, and the "Law and Order" service. The police explain this by the principle of "police within walking distance": one can report an incident or offense in a convenient way.
All calls to 102 are automatically registered in the information system. Messages are sent to police units responsible for verification and taking measures, taking into account the nature of the incident and the location where it occurred.
